Team: Norman Brierley, Tom Ellis One of the highlights of the indoor athletics season, the Aviva Grand Prix attracts many of the world's top athletes. Norman Brierley brings a wealth of reporting experience to this event, having reported from past Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, World Championships in Athletics and Grand Prix. Intern Tom Ellis was part of our team at the London Grand Prix at Crystal Palace in July 2009. 11 June-11 July 2010: FIFA World Cup™, South Africa Team: Adrian Barnard, Steve Vickers, Solomon Izang Ashoms, Tom Ellis, Pedro Arias Solomon Ashoms’ (left) experience reporting for us at the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ in Germany puts him in good stead to cover this Championship in the country where he now lives. Steve Vickers (right) will produce and present a daily 30-minute show featuring news and interviews with players and fans, discussions about the main issues and news of the Christian mission and outreach events happening in South Africa during the World Cup. Steve was formerly a producer with the BBC World Service sports programme, Fast Track. Tom Ellis (left) will be our researcher and programme assistant.![]() Pedro Arias (right) is our Spanish producer, reporting for audiences in Central and South America. Adrian Barnard is project manager and executive producer. We will be reporting on the games themselves and providing an insight into life in the country as the tournament progresses. Before the World Cup we will produce a series of radio programmes called Spirit of Football exploring some of the moral, ethical and spiritual issues of the Beautiful Game. 13-14 August 2010: Aviva London Grand Prix, Crystal Palace, UK Team: tbc The event we have covered more than any other. Great sport, great atmosphere and a wealth of top class athletes to interview. 03-14 October 2010: XIX Commonwealth Games, Delhi Team: tbc If we go to Delhi this will be the third Commonwealth Games we have covered following Manchester (2002) and Melbourne (2006). We will make a final decision based on security and likely the demand for our services from this event at the beginning of April 2010.
