Australian Fair advanced enough.
At the Auckland games a few years ago, some people suggested that the Australian National Anthem was being overplayed. A few people suggested substituting a different song, e.g. Waltzing Matilda, just to make a change for the band, especially at pool side.
I also then got thinking about the English national anthem, why do they have to use the same as the British? Can't they get there own, maybe rule Britannia? Or should Britain change to "land of hope and Glory" and England keeps "God save the Queen."
I can not do anything about it, but it is fun to imagine.
Here again the Australian's are once again dominating. And I was wondering if the Australians got to choose their own song what would it be? True Blue? Song of Australia? South Australia?
I then thought about ways to let other teams get more medals. Limiting team size maybe? Or Making Australia compete as separate states... This sounds like a good either, and would mean the talent would be spread very thin... or it could mean that more Australians would win medals anyway.
My favourite idea was to let more sports into the games that Australians are not good at... I can't think of anything at the moment, but there must be some.
