The World Games of the non-Olympic disciplines were the biggest multi-sport event in 2005. The Games comprised 40 sports with 3500 athletes competing from 100 nations. Over half a million spectators were expected to watch the Games at 27 venues.
Sports include:
- Dance sport - Karate - Sumo wrestling - Sport acrobatics - Nine and tenpin bowling - Flying disc (Frisbee) - Korfball - Tug of War - Rugby
