"When it comes to sport, sport is to bring us together. Sport is not to create an enmity, but it's only to enjoy. One thing that's very important when it comes to sports - this is an Olympics where we meet so many. We come from different walks of life. We have Africans we have Australians, Japanese, Chinese, all these people. But the thing is that when are being together we don't speak the same language all of us but when we are competing we speak the same language - we're in the same sport. This is something that I really enjoy so much, that the whole world can come together and be one family. I think it's very sweet." - Paul Tergat, Kenya, in an interview shortly after winning silver medal in 10000m, Olympic Games, Sydney 2000 The XXVIII Summer Olympic Games were held in Athens from 13-29 August 2004.
